Laura Fletcher, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, brings a unique level of discipline and acute care expertise to BackFit Health + Spine. Having served eight years as a Major in the United States Air Force, including a deployment to East Africa, Laura operates with the precision and leadership required to manage high-stakes medical environments. She holds double Master’s degrees in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine from the University of South Alabama—a dual background that is invaluable for personal injury cases. Her ER experience allows her to expertly assess acute trauma, while her family medicine training ensures a coordinated pathway toward long-term stabilization.

With 18 years of experience, Laura has further specialized in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
