Podiatrist
Jacob J. Wolfrum, DPM, is a highly skilled podiatric surgeon currently practicing at On the Move Podiatry in Phoenix, Arizona. After earning his Doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Wolfrum completed a rigorous residency that included time at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System, and Banner Desert Medical Center. He specializes in advanced reconstructive surgery and trauma, with extensive expertise in complex procedures such as Lapiplasty, minimally invasive bunion surgery, Charcot reconstruction, and limb salvage. His clinical mission is rooted in addressing both immediate symptoms and underlying conditions, ensuring a comprehensive approach that restores his patients' mobility and quality of life.
Dr. Wolfrum’s path to medicine began on the baseball diamond; a former Division I and II collegiate catcher, his interest in lower extremity health was sparked by a knee injury during his sophomore year. This personal experience with recovery, combined with a family history of podiatric needs, drives his empathetic, patient-centered approach to care. His dedication was further evidenced during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he served as the only podiatry resident to volunteer in the ICU at Wyckoff Heights. A Buffalo, New York native and a die-hard Bills fan, Dr. Wolfrum is a long-time enthusiast of Formula 1 and sports car racing. Outside the clinic, he enjoys snowboarding, attending live sporting events, and listening to rock and roll, always prioritizing a surgeon-patient relationship built on transparency and trust.
